...bruising For No Reason

Meeting / 365 days a year

Tomorrow, Saturday, the meeting ends. And 'Saturday in reality because they are already two in the morning. This time it's happened, we pulled late in the bunker, including the Inter game, dinner was completed, a few articles to upload to the site, even some discussion. It 'was hard, but we did it. Tomorrow we return home. Crossing the desert living at this hour of the night. It is impressive to walk two hours where before there were thousands of people hot and crowded, the desert is now complete. eerie silence in the immense exhibition. Every so often passes some volunteers on the night shift on a bicycle. Who knows where it is going. It just feels a powerful, smooth voice echoing throughout the fair. E'quella of Giussani. E 'the recorded message heard during a visit to her, beautiful show. Let him go to repeat all night. It 's a warm voice, says that what really matters: "I do not live in vain. It' s my obsession." Makes me a little 'the chills this item that follows you as you try to gain the release of the fair. E 'Fate knocking at the door. Outside, the moon is full. The towers stand out against the light blue sky. It is a great night. It 's a night total. Everything is as it should be everything in the right direction by fate. The Meeting is about to end, but it is not true. The Meeting continues 365 days a year. Just make memories and keep coming back to basics. And do not live in vain, as they would like us to do. He returned to Milan. Meeting / Day. what?!

I sleep. E 'last Saturday I sleep four or five hours a night . My hotel room seems to be that of Hunter S. Thompson played by Johnny Depp in the film Fear and loathing in Las Vegas. What Hunter S. Thompson was the king of gonzo writers, so one of my heroes. But really, it's not that I left the meeting, is that I can no longer keep up. I heard the words of the widow Coletta and for the first time in my life I felt proud to be an Italian, and I would get a penny of the faith that she has. I met a lot of nice people, revised friends, made late night after dinner - sumptuous - Subsidiarity Foundation with a lot of friends ... The meeting is too large, you exceeds all sides, and I need to sleep. In short, the Meeting also arrived Alessandro Tanturli that he will talk about the last days. Fair enough. Meanwhile, leave space friend Germano, who has a lot of things of my most beautiful and intelligent, to say ... I go to sleep on the steps of writing ... "Reading these lines on the show of Solidarity , I was reminded that those were precisely the years in high school I came from the parish with the recommendation to pay attention to those of CL, "bad people". And instead I just met Andraghetti, Bottai, the Flame, Battifora, Bottino…

Ovviamente mi ero dimenticato, ma soprattutto I had not seen that was already out the door of the drawing. So when a friend sees me go over the railing that leads to the office, calling me, "come and have a beer." At the Meeting, you know, given the mess of people, you have to yell to communicate . So they scream, "I can not interview Red Ronnie." The scream twice. I turn and I see the director who introduced me to Ronnie. Zzzo think, thank goodness I did not scream "I have to interview that c.. Red Ronnie. " That is a very nice type, and then nobody in Italy has interviewed all but just before, as they say, I came across the head and neck suddenly. I was in the bathroom, one of the few times that I had found Time to go, and I will ring the phone. Zzzo. He was my colleague, "come to the office we do that thing that you know." I, as you know, I know nothing or almost. I had forgotten that fact, passed today by meeting with his friend Red Ronnie Letizia everyone from George Harrison, Paul McCartney and so on. And his TV show was the only real TV show to listen to live music, such as Ben Harper Ben Harper before it became fashionable. O Ani Di Franco, or even my friend Elliott Murphy. Make one mistake, good Red: reporter does not know who is speaking. In fact at one point says that Jimi Hendrix wrote true poetry, not Bob Dylan. Sorry Red? I'm going to smoke a cigarette, and I met the sixteen year old son a couple of friends . He's waiting to go to a meeting, is there alone. He is in a wheelchair since he was born, and many other problems. Yet I have never seen a guy more happy to be alive. I want to hug and greet him, and not the thoughts that are often far from it. How would Don Pino said the meeting this afternoon, "the heart is infallible." Yeah. A few hours later, another cigarette, long one of the pools. There he was, in short trousers and sandals, cigarette, too. Don Eugenio, "Genius" as we call it sometimes . A hug, this time, and immediately informed of my stuff, unemployment, work, and so on. I tell him that I was hired, "you saw," he laughs. Yeah, he always told me to make novenas when I was unemployed. Let me also now that I've found a job. The heart is infallible. The last meeting was for work, that mine is a dirty job but someone's gotta do it. I go to the soundcheck Terra Naomi, the good, and beautiful, American singer who performs tonight at the Meeting. I had interviewed via e-mail last year, meet in person, even to meet, however, is another matter entirely. The cool thing is that his first tour in Italy had organized him a priest, I meet him too. "When she arrived in Italy and saw that I was a priest, has been a bit '..." laughs big. Forte, this priest, "Now I want to bring in Italy The Tallest Man on Earth." 'Cidenti, I say, maybe. "Ah, music ...." I am. "Do you think that I realized I had a vocation listening to rock music." And some say that rock is the devil's music ... As Lou Reed said, we all have a rock'n'roll heart. And the heart is infallible. The interview is here on Earth instead, http://www.ilsussidiario.net/articolo.aspx?articolo=108305

Four Day / Three Day Meeting

Quei volti, belli, fieri, liberi. Lech Walesa e i suoi mustache, other than those of Stalin, and a pin with the Black Madonna. I remember how shocked we were discussing the images that came from Danzig, those days of 1980. What's going on here? Workers in the knee that are crossed during the strike instead of boring waving red flags and raising his fist? Times are changing, some would say. Reading the statement of requirements in 21 points of the Solidarity workers, it is evident the originality and greatness of this union. The first request for wage increase comes into the tenth point . Before requests only freedom of speech, of religion, of expression. And to think that these people, these Polish workers, were people who literally starved in the glorious failure of socialist Poland, but also an ideological statement. Other than the bourgeois revolution of children bored and spoiled children of our 68 : the Polish Solidarity movement was along with that of Budapest to Prague by 56 and 68 of the only true revolution of the twentieth century. It looks a bit ', not against the bosses, but against the Communists. All three. I look at those photos, Piazza del Duomo in Milan with the huge cross of candles and thousands of people with Polish flags in those days in December 1981 when they did, the Communist coup. Chiavari went by train to participate in those moments, we also participate in the great struggle for freedom. As my professor, PCI honest man, told me that in school did not have to do politics, because I walked into class with the t-shirt with the word Solidarity. Would be laughable if it were not crying for hypocrisy. At the end of the show are the staples of Sind: other emotion. I'm in a glass case, as relics. I had a dozen, then. I wish I had kept. What memories. Formidable these days, those formidable years.

Wedding Card Messages And Recipe

/ Day two

Here in the bunker today, first real day of Meeting, but the second day for this writer, the heat is obscene. The boss of the Foundation sfotte when we pass by here called "Albanian": "How to Tirana? ". Every now and then is some of the expert meeting to try to run air conditioners but to no avail. Only about nine o'clock in the evening we take a giant penguin. Tomorrow will be better - now for those who write or read. Memorable day, however, to present at the Meeting. Not every day you see a group of Ugandan children more blacks to make a black choir singing mountain. For once, instead of importing Western fashions third world that we know will only make ridiculous or ideological, of the Africans imported a beautiful thing (our) at home. And the result is moving. How were moving their testimony in the meeting that preceded the song Afro-alpine. Okello, for example, tells the story of when he refused the offer of a major company that brought Islamic to go to work in Dubai: a lot of money in salary and up to seven virgins on offer. I do not know how many Westerners would refuse an offer like this. "You do not have a man how can you give a damn for seven virgins," they tell their friends. He does not care, he has come across something better, he met Father Giussani's words through his new friends. In the afternoon another meeting memorable one with the president of Ireland, beautiful and nice, led by my friend John Waters. That her hair is getting longer, John, those that remain, however, has more than me. In a suit and tie makes a nice look great and that hair is so long it seems to me not as an affectation but almost external to remember the past from which John comes, what a brilliant journalist finished fortified rock (rock journalist, alcoholism. ... Mmmm words to me sound familiar ...) that scored poorly and then led him here. At the Meeting, where he has "met" Don Giussani . It 's amazing that you meet Gius is doing since he died. John's hair as evidence, memento, souvenir, because what we were always remains with us, for better or for worse, but above all for good now. I follow the meetings from the video of my computer here in the bunker Albanians and smile. I smile when a sentence is quoted the Irish poet Cavenagh, "too big to be a crack there is not any wonder" , that I've done my motto the words of another poet, Leonard Cohen, who says, "there is a crack in everything, and that's where the light passes. " But it is true, the crack should not be too large, otherwise there is a crack, but an upheaval, devastation. Let us allow the light to pass through small wounds, but let's keep these open wounds. Tomorrow maybe go to lunch with John and ask him if I wrote the introduction for my new book. Journalists rock on the other hand must help each other, to these times of great rock music there is less and less. No? S tay tuned for more adventures Meeting Meeting ... And watch the news tonight at 19:30, live .

Meeting / Shooting Star Day One

Germano I think if anything is going to do the volunteer at the Meeting , should act as a driver. He took me to board flights from Rimini with a perfect guide, but the icing was the piadineria hidden on a hill that only he knows. Excellent flat bread and excellent guide. What? Germano is already the driver at the Rimini Meeting for years? I do not know, he speaks little and does not confirm. We break the entrance last day of pre Meeting, he goes to take his service (driver?), I have mine. Through the huge fair with my suitcase, very hot, some volunteers svaccato destroyed as a dead body and I can not help but think that here is yet to air. Stands, exhibitions, restaurants. Lacks almost all the ground there are paint cans, walls to be lifted. I say, but tomorrow begins the Meeting, not make it to never finish in time. I do not know. I take service in our room bunker with no windows and of course air conditioning is not working. One by one, come all, in the end we are about fifteen (our staff plus some nice volunteer, as a Roman de 'Roma misfortune that his place beside me just hours before the Super Cup Inter-Roma ...) and in the heat is obscene. My friend Camilla disappears and returns shortly after with a nice fan square in the middle between me and her. Cosìva better. I do my first interview, Alfredo Minucci , the Neapolitan singer that everyone likes so much, but I do not like the Neapolitan song. But he does not tell you. In reality he is really good. E 'is also nice, but they are all more or less the Neapolitans, but also tells me a lot of beautiful things. For example, I cited these words of Don Giussani Naples that he did understand the true meaning of these songs: "The Neapolitan songs tell love so great that love can never die." Stamattina, Sunday, we come to the Meeting a couple of hours before the gates open. I'm shocked. It 's all in perfect order and ready. Every show, every stand, every restaurant. Who was here tonight? I do not know. I do not know anything. I, as said Micucci, I trust only. Meanwhile, I can tease my classmate, the Roman: "You saw that in the field with Adriano Inter always wins." Yeah, too bad for them that mo'gioca Adriano in Rome ... Grande Inter. http://www.ilsussidiario.net/News/Editoriale/2010/8/22/Liberi-senza-finzioni/107540/ Meeting stay tuned for more adventures ... Day two tomorrow .. Meanwhile, this year we also have news, and we did, namely those of my writing, not bad:

FALLING STAR
Bob Dylan
I saw a shooting star
tonight and I thought of you.
tries to enter another world
a world I never knew.
I've always wondered if you
we did.
I saw a shooting star tonight
and I thought of you.
I saw a shooting star tonight and I thought to myself
.
If I was still the same if
I never became what I wanted I had missed the target or

I crossed the line that only you could see?
I saw a shooting star tonight and I thought to myself
.
Listen to the engine, hear the bell
and the last fire truck from hell
passes quickly, all the good people are praying,
And 'The Last Temptation,
the showdown
the last time You can hear the sermon on the mountain, the last radio is playing
I saw a shooting star tonight slip away
.
Tomorrow is another day.
I suppose it's too late per dirti le cose

che avevi bisogno di sentirmi dire.

Ho visto una stella cadente stanotte

scivolare via.

SHOOTING STAR

words and music Bob Dylan
Seen a shooting star tonight

And I thought of you.

You were trying to break into another world

A world I never knew.

I always kind of wondered

If you ever made it through.

Seen a shooting star tonight

And I thought of you.
Seen a shooting star tonight

And I thought of me.

If I was still the same

If I ever became what you wanted me to be

Did I miss the mark or

Over-step the line

That only you could see?

Seen a shooting star tonight

And I thought of me.
Listen to the engine, listen to the bell

As the last fire truck from hell

Goes rolling by, all good people are praying,
It's the last temptation

The last account

The last time you might hear the sermon on the mount,

The last radio is playing.
Seen a shooting star tonight

Slip away.

Tomorrow will be another day.

Guess it's too late to say the things to you

That you needed to hear me say.

Seen a shooting star tonight

Slip away.
